SoFi Stadium Ranked As The Number One Stadium In The World For Touring In 2023; YouTube Theater Ranked Number Eight
Inglewood, Calif – December 4, 2023 – SoFi Stadium was ranked as the number one stadium in the world, according to Billboard Magazine’s 2023 Year in Touring, while YouTube Theater ranked as the number eight venue in the world. The stadium topped the charts for gross ticket sales and attendance with a record-breaking 19 concerts and over one million fans. YouTube Theater presented 70 concerts with nearly 300,000 fans based on the ranking timeframe. SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater are located at Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre mixed-use development, being built by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke.

The 70,000-capacity SoFi Stadium hosted a robust calendar of world-renowned artists and multiple events this year including College Football Playoff National Championship, Wrestelmania 39, and international soccer competitions with the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final and Arsenal FC vs F.C. Barcelona, plus Hollywood Park hosted its first music festival, Rolling Loud CA. Music legends Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks kicked off concerts at the stadium in March, followed by the return of Latin superstars Grupo Firme, who holds the record for the highest-selling Latin band or artist at the stadium. “The King of Bachata,” Romeo Santos, kicked off his tour in June at the stadium, and international K-Pop sensations TWICE made their stadium debut as the first all-female group to perform at and sell out SoFi Stadium. Morgan Wallen brought his “One Night At A Time World Tour” to the stadium with a sold-out performance on July 22nd.
August was SoFi Stadium’s busiest month of concerts to date, which kicked off with an unprecedented six-show mini-residency by powerhouse Taylor Swift. The sold-out shows were the most dates at one stop on her U.S. tour, breaking all venue records for attendance, merchandise, and concessions. Metallica rocked the stadium with two sold-out nights of their “M72 World Tour,” and global superstar Beyoncé brought her “RENAISSANCE World Tour” to the stadium with three sold-out nights, culminating with her star-studded birthday celebration.
The year rounded out with Ed Sheeran, who broke the record for highest single-show attendance with over 81,000 fans, international pop icon P!NK performed her “Summer Carnival Tour,” and Travis Scott closed the year out on Nov. 5th, becoming the first rapper to headline and sell out SoFi Stadium.
Several concerts and events have already been announced at the stadium for 2024, including Illenium (Feb. 2 and 3), Monster Jam World Finals (May 18), Luke Combs (June 14 and 15), Blink-182 (July 6), The Rolling Stones (July 10 and 13), Kenny Chesney (July 20), Green Day (Sept. 14) and the return of Rolling Loud CA on March 15-17 headlined by Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and Future x Metro Boomin, plus more to be announced.
YouTube Theater, the intimate 6,000-capacity performance venue adjacent to SoFi Stadium, will host a record-breaking 98 events, concluding 2023 with 88 concerts in collaboration with venue partner Live Nation. Multiple sellout performances included Mexican superstar Peso Pluma, Janelle Monáe, Gunna, Don Toliver, New Order, Melanie Martinez, global best-selling author and podcast host Jay Shetty, Feid, Babymetal x Dethklok, Kenny Loggins’ final tour “This is It,” and the return of Los Ángeles Azules for the third consecutive year. Additionally, the venue hosted its first boxing event presented by Golden Boy Promotions, A GRAMMY Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop, Summer Game Fest, and hololive English 1st Concert-Connect the World. This December, the theater will host two sold-out shows of Brent Faiyaz, its first family show with KIDZ BOP Live, and Derek Hough’s “Symphony of Dance featuring Hayley Hough” on December 29th.
